Amy Ho has been practising as a GP in the St Leonards area for decades. She is always passionate about her work. Amy specialises in women's health, antenatal shared care, mental health and all aspects of GP services including diving medical assessments for amateur divers (even she is now no longer diving as she has switched her passion to sailing). This family lineage of medicine inspired Amy to make working in the medical field her priority. Amy finished high school in Sydney and graduated from her medical degree at UNSW. When her family migrated to the USA, she decided to stay and has subsequently called Australia home for many, many, years. Amy is actively involved with RACGP and AMA and is very interested in advocacy and mentoring medical students. She also supports DHAS, a volunteer organisation that supports the well being of medical professionals and Lou's Place, which is a drop in centre at King Cross for underprivileged women. Amy speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin. When she is not busy keeping up with all of the above, her passions include; travelling, eating out and kicking up her heels line dancing. Amy works every Sunday and Monday to Wednesday. She occasionally works Thursdays.
